Me neither. When even think about messing with my cell while driving I become dangerous.
Thursday morning, I was heading to work and noticed a bunch of police, fire and ambulance vehicles hammering down the road. They all pulled into a Steak N Shake. I wondered why they were in such a hurry when I noticed a drive through window where there wasn't one before. An 87 year old man got confused between the brake and throttle pedals and launched his SUV through the wall and scattering people eating. Pinning one under the car. 10 injuries but only one went to the hospital.
The next day a clerk at an ice cream shop on the other side of town watched a minivan plowing into several cars and heading straight for her. She grabbed a co-worker and shoved her out of the room. The cars the texting driver hit slowed her down enough she just smashed the wall but didn't end up inside like the one the day before.
I rarely even turn my cell phone on when driving for that very reason.
Honk if you love Jesus.
Text if you want to meet him.
Me neither. When even think about messing with my cell while driving I become dangerous.
