Truly prophetic!

I think I used to have an iron that looked like the first one. The 2nd reminded me of a Tatra.

An interesting aspect is the emphasis. On driving. Not a word about saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaafety. Or gadgets to keep you addled.
That was mostly true in real life until the early '90s.
Before then, only Volvo whined constantly about the safety of its dreary boxes.
Everyone else touted sex appeal, sportiness, luxury, driving appeal... etc.
A case in point!
Few seemed to care much about the pop-out safety glass, seat belts or the "safety" space in the footwell that you were supposed to dive into when a wreck seemed imminent.
Very few people wanted air bags, either - when they were free to not buy them.
But the country has been feminized to an incredible extent since then.
It's a female trait to obsess over safety/security. To want to protect against any conceivable danger - even if remote.
This is perfectly natural - and a good thing, insofar as it serves as a counterpoint to the sometimes reckless nature of men. But when it tilts too far in the female direction - as it has now - then you get a gutless, ball-less society of metrosexual men who act like women - and women who think they're men...
Not just Volvo:
