My mother always brought me up to believe that washing, ironing, cooking and housework were a woman's greatest pleasures in life - but her man should always be able to do them better. Sound philosophy, it works very well for Diane and I and when she goes away she knows she will come back to a spotless house, no washing, washing up or ironing to do, the ironing all neatly folded away in the airing cupboard, the lawns all mowed and the gardens neat and tidy.What the ****?
