Another very clean race with few cautions and lots of action. This unlike other Sprint cup events this year featured the usual suspects that ultimately finish in the top 12.

Important note: Last weekend at Bristol Kyle Busch won the Nationwide race and the Sprint Cup race.

He won the Nationwide race at Fontana as well. Nine cars stayed on the track and did not take tires with a caution with (14) laps to go.

When the white flag was waved Kyle Busch was in first and it appeared he might win. His tires and or handling dropped off and Jimmie Johnson took the lead on this 2 mile circuit. While Jimmie was racing Kyle Kevin Harvick made up valuable ground. In turn 3 he "bumped" Jimmie's rear bumper. A second bump loosened Jimmies car and Harvick pulled ahead and cleared the 48 just before the checkered flag.

Sometimes you have to accept 2nd and not record a did not finish. The third bump would have probably been the wrecking ball.

I'm not saying this was better than the F1 race, but it sure seemed that way.
