Several observations:
#1. Our gubment gives aid to people to go to college! College is voulntary, you are not entitled to a college education.
#2. College is a waste of time on this guy.
#3. Any college that would have him, is a scam. Many schools wouldn't exist without government funded student aid.

When I was trying to get a degree in engineering from Virginia Tech many years ago, the Pell Grant and Stafford Loan administrators told me my working-class parents made "too much money". This was news to my parents, of course. Even federally guaranteed student loan amounts that I, not my parents, would have been responsible to repay were based on my parents' "expected contribution" and reduced accordingly. All this was well before the private student loans, PLUS loans that parents must repay, and other such debt machines were really a factor in the market. Despite a 3.0 GPA, I dropped out of Tech after my freshman year and never looked back.
It seems unlikely I would be in engineering had I been able to stay anyway, thanks to all the outsourcing, offshoring, and the like that has occurred since, so I'm actually glad today I didn't have many thousands of dollars in undischargeable student loan debt hanging over my head.
