We're all subject to a social contract

Just had this conversation with a colleague. He believes that my mother, by giving birth to me, subjected me and bound me to a social contract. A social contract that the gov't - which he also told me is not inherently evil - is charged with enforcing.

And, now that I'm of the age of consent, that I can "opt" out of the unwritten, non-existant social contract that I never agreed to by leaving the country if I don't like it.

It's this social contract and the gov't enforcement of it that makes society safe.

Wow! Happy Hour's gonna come early today. It's amazing how many people are still connected to the matrix via educational indoctrination.

File this under "Conversations with a Clover" and forget about it.
