    (un)loopy driveshaft

Ever wonder why most tracks require a driveshaft safety loop?

The TV show Mythbusters didn't help matters when they said this couldn't happen. I just wonder about the giggling idiots that ddn't stop to see if anyone was hurt. I'll bet the Dart was eithert totalled or required major body work.

I guess Mythbusters didn't see the video. If the tranny to propshaft coupling fails that is always a possibility. Nice to see the way the howling monkeys in the video car stopped to see if anyone needed help - NOT.

    Khen.
