Interesting thing. Its three cylinder engine has more hp than my 1960 VW van had.
I think this paragraph explains why we do not have more inexpensive vehicles in the US.In Shanghai, a little van is a lot safer than fighting traffic on a bicycle. But the Sunshine would never pass a U.S. government safety inspection. Once you've gone down that road, the cost starts to skyrocket.
