I think that the control knobs are combined push button/rotary controls, Larry.
If so, push each button in to activate and then rotate the control knob to select
the desired fan speed - heat - airflow direction.
Ken.
I still can't figure out how to turn on the heater assembly on my 2009 Camry these cold wintry days. Help!!
Edit:
My heater assembly is the Manual A/C System, comprising of three 2" diameter knobs placed horizontally below, instead of one smaller knob on each side.

The tail end of this video shows the controls being operated, Larry. Cut and paste the link into your browser search bar
if it doesn't work.

Thanks for the explanations, Ken. The best way to learn how to operate the heater assembly is to keep on trying by playing with the knobs until I can familiarize with them.
Larry.
I turned on the video link you provided in your last post but when I clicked on the cc button, nothing but presumably Russian cc came up instead of English. How to convert to English CC, please.
Hi, Larry - I am puzzled as clicking on 'Play' I get an English commentary, albeit with a very heavy accent. The only bit that
you really need is right at the end when he is operating the controls - it was this visual bit that I thought would show you the
push button 'ON/Off' and 'Rotary' function of the knobs.
HTH.
Ken.
p.s. What do you mean by the 'cc' button. When you click on the link the window shown below should open in YouTube
and the video would normally autorun.

cc is "closed-caption" for the hearing impaired, which I am.
Thanks, Larry. I have never heard the term before. The commentary is in very, very heavily accented
English which is why it may have sounded Russian to you. Ignore the voice and captions, the last thirty seconds or
so show the engineer operating the controls - that is the bit I wanted you to see.
Take care my friend.
