I don't always agree with Eric but on one thing we are completely in sync. Nanny Systems. Listening to NPR this morning, they were doing a story on Boeing's 737-Max. Specifically an anti-stall system. Major fleets around the world grounded the planes while the U.S. let them fly for a couple of more days. This was a system that highly trained pilots couldn't handle. cockpit voice recorders showed the crews fighting the plane. The second crash recording indicated the crew turned the anti-stall system off, regained control then followed their training and turned it back on, and crashed.

Over 300 people died because of a Nanny System that many carriers didn't know was there.
