2007 Scion

2007 xA

For '07 a new Series 3.0 version of Scion's compact, youth-oriented hatchback debuts. These limited edition xA's feature Stingray Metallic light blue paint and are further differentiated by front and rear KenStyle® ground effects, Release Series wheel covers, color-tuned seat fabric, a unique rear spoiler and individually numbered badging. The Series 3.0 also comes with XM satellite radio and a pre-paid three-month subscription to XM Radio. Otherwise, the xA carries over into '07 essentially unchanged.

Scion xB

For whatever reason, the unashamedly boxy xB is Scion's best-selling vehicle, and remains a hot and hip urban alternative to both small sport-utility vehicles and sport wagons. It sits fairly low to the ground and carries ground effects and a low front-end skirt with wide air intake to dress-up its otherwise rectangular styling. The xB affords a generous 21.2 cu. ft. of cargo stowage for carrying bikes and other active-gear. For '07, a special edition Release Series 4.0 version is available. It features color-keyed taillights, rear spoiler and Modellista speed grille; rear bumper protector; and Release Series wheel covers -- with Maziora Torched Penny exterior paint. Maziora, by Nippon Paint Co. Ltd., is a polarized paint line that changes color depending on the viewing angle or light reflection. Maziora was also recently featured on a Japanese domestic special edition bB and has been used on project and show cars. A color-keyed Razo shift knob is standard on manual transmission models.

2007 Scion tC

For the new model year, Scion is offering a "tuner-oriented" Spec Package for the tC sports coupe that comes with steel wheels instead of alloys (on the theory that these are among the first things a tuner would change out) along with a lower price point than the standard Tc coupe. The Spec Package also includes a fixed glass panorama roof, different upholstery, urethane steering wheel and slight tweaks to the exterior cosmetics such as a different grille treatment. Also, exterior colors will be limited to just four options (vs. the regular Tc's seven), including Super White, Flint Mica, Black Sand Pearl and Classic Silver Metallic. Otherwise, the tC is a carryover for 2007.
