Agreed. The iDrive controller is the worst thing to happen to automobiles in 20 years. If for no other reason than Mercedes and Audi (for some reason) felt compelled to follow BMWs lead.

I just wish that they would realize that the digital garbage doesn't belong everywhere. Many things are better left analog.
And I agree they are putting way too many useless features in cellphones and other stuff which often makes the most needed functions a lot more complicated than necessary.
