    Th Slow Car Club

    This is pretty damn funny:

"The idea behind the Slow Car Club is to have some fun racing without going to all the bother of buying a fast car, getting a racing licence, or doing any tuning. The plan is to hold an event roughly once a year. Everyone is welcome whatever car you drive, but points might be deducted for underhand tricks such as tuning...."

I'm caught napping on the start line and the Renault 5 takes an early lead. In the end none of the Renault 4's 34 hoursepower turn out to be interested in catching the Renault 5.
    LOL.

There's a lot to be said for slow racing! 2CV racing is great fun - the lap times may be slow, but the racing is very close. Believe it or not, even at 2CV speeds slipstreaming is effective!

I agree completely; I've had some of the most fun pushing a slow car to its limits (and testing my own)! And you can do so much more safely, given the lower speeds and threshold of grip, etc.

    Go the Slow cars!!

I have even owned one a Fiat 500 Bambina. Top speed about 55MPH! 60MPH when tagging in a truck slipstream!
Would I do that now ...Never!

But I think a Citroen Deux Cheveau (2CV) is probably more fun with its rocking suspension
