    If this thing is for real, it could be a hit. I somehow doubt that it will get the mileage advertised.

    I like the fact that it could cruise at 70 mph without dipping into the gas engine.

    The word is these plug-ins will be mass market by 2008 - 2009 at the very latest.

    I could see myself in one. My commute is probably on the outside of what they envision, but it's still doable in the Volt.

    32 miles one-way, with portions at 80mph.
