Mercedes C-class now has 'agility control suspension' (ACS).
[from international press release 1/07... ]
"... The new agility control suspension system is designed to provide a good ride and agile handling, while affording a cornering attitude 10% flatter than the previous model's. The system uses selective damping to control shock absorber reaction according to driver situations, employing hydromechanics rather than electronics to provide soft damping when low suspension forces are at work and firmer damping action when cornering or taking evasive action..."
Hallelujah. Mercedes have discovered the multiple-orifice hydraulic damper!
I wonder what how they will describe the laminated leaf spring?
