Our Robbie thinks that applies to uploads, as well.
Comes through fine.

Thanks, it looks like 800x600 may be a tad large for this site, I'll try something else at a lower res.Originally Posted by robmcg

Let me ask a question.
I take it this thread started with a test of uploading a picture file to be included in a message.
Now, I included a photo in one message, but I had to put the pic in my personal space at my ISP. Is it possible to upload a photo to Eric's board and dispolay it inline in a message? If so, how do I do that?
I think you have to cut and paste the full DOS string for your photo betweenOriginally Posted by pgranzeau
like this:
click on the picture icon above and you get [ ... img ] and [ ... /img ]
(spaces and dots added to confuse the HTML code)
and paste something like C:/my documents/my pictures/cars/chevV81.jpg between.
then click ' post '.
here is a check:
which became "http://C:/my documents/my pictures/2007_2_17/VX_8_engine_1_r700.jpg" ...that style of loading appears to require an HTTP filename [sigh]
which shows that you cannot load that way...at least I cannot ... without having your pic in a valid http home...
If you want to load files directly from your PC you would have to use 'attachments'... with filetypes as prescribed.
Sorry that's not much help is it.... maybe I didn't get the full DOS string right? Here is the thing as an attachment anyway...
Aha. An attachment. Let me try.
This is what my Prius looks like (color, at least--mine is a 2006, the photo is a 2007)
