Ride for Daniel - Around 5000 bikes

Went on the Ride for Daniel today.

Daniel Morcome was abducted in December 2003 form near Nambour here on the Sunshine Coast.

I was only intending to ride a part of the route, as my friend's 12 year old son was on the back. He kept saying "keep going" and we ended up travelling the whole 110kms.
He was pleased as punch albeit tired when he got off at the end.

There has been reported that there were around 5000 bikes.

The roar of engines at 1000hrs in the carpark whre we assembled was amazing!!!

    Will post some pics soon

Just a minor point, but their photos aren't working in their gallery. Click on them, and nothing happens.

I had the same problem when I tried with Netscape 7.2 .

But then I tried IE (whatever version it is that comes with Vista) and it worked fine.

So try a different web browser.

Both work fine for me (Firefox browser). There are no 2007 pics of the run available but I suspect that there has not been time to post them.

I can see the 2007 pics just fine here from "work" with my oldest notebook computer, which uses Netscape 7.2 with Win-ME.

I tried IE, and it worked. But there are good reasons why I don't use it, along with a lot of other people, so web designers ought to take that into consideration. It's the rare site that doesn't support FireFox.

And I see Apple is bringing out a Windows version of their browser, too.
