It's a report from a reporter in our area. His show is called "Four Country Reporter," or, possibly now, "Eight Country Reporter."
The chicken fried bacon looks good.

I would drop AOL if it weren't such an ordeal to transfer my e-mail contacts, etc.
Have you been there? If not, perhaps we'll go this coming Sunday or Monday. That trip is a decent scooter trip for the few of us off on Monday!Originally Posted by misterdecibel
Chicken fried bacon is a heart attack on a plate, but maybe worth it!

I'll post a full report after the visit!

That's too far for me to drive for dinner. Although I DO occasionally drive down to San Antonio for dinner.
It's got to be AOL because my laptop iBook plays the videos just fine using a different ISP...Originally Posted by mrblanche

I wish there were an archive of the Four Country Reporter and the Eight Country Reporter. (He was on channel four, got cancelled in spite of his huge popularity, and moved to channel 8.) Just going through that would be one of the best travel guides for Central Texas that could possibly be made.

I shouldn't feel so bad about tech glitches and such.
Mike, JDM and some others here would die before admitting they cannot quite get a handle on things like modern E-tech. They are like car mechanics who act like there is nothing they cannot handle, and suggest otherwise is an attack on their manhood.
More of the usual antipodean hawgwash - I have no idea of what 'modern E-tech' might be.Originally Posted by robmcg

At least I'm prepared to admit that when a triple SU 3.8 Jag can't quite see off the US V8 in a straight line, we stand around and admit that, well, they have no brakes and can't go around corners.
Eventually Ford won Le Mans, with enough money to retire all 3rd World Debt....
