    "Duh" Hyundai ads

What idiot came up with the idea to gear their new sales campaign around the use of the word "Duh"?

I thought they were moving upscale.

Maybe they view 'Duh' as upscale for the average Hyundai buyer?

Well, there are many, KBB included, who accelerate until the car in front is too close...

    Subtleties? Nah.

Mercedes and Chyrsler do ads which are in the 'open road freedom' style. Yeah. It is wasted money...

Chrysler cars are looked-upon here as sad and pathetic.
GM ads are clearly expensive and always very very stupid.
    Ford are even worse.

When I see a pretty blonde in an late model open-top car I think, "rich bitch" and "poor sad pathetic"... cool cars here are slightly modified Japanese performance sedans, like Jan Mel Poller's Subaru turbo 4WD 2.5... except if you are over 25 yrs old it looks pathetic, so we older guys have to have family sedans with basic engineering.

In the country here it's all GM/Ford RWD sedans, tractors, sheep or milking cows, and the occasional Toyota small ute. all with dirt and dust. Females use large 4WDs like Landcruiser and Terrano to go to town and subsidize the farm, some grip the wheel to their breast.

A Chrysler V8 would get a blank stare, and the retro-thing 2-litre is a fast train to complete embarassment.
