    Excellent stuff, JDM.

The only thing that saves America is good insisive analtical reporting like that.

I have been a bit disappointed with TIME of late; strange editorial policy. How come they have a zillion editors etc who presumably paid by the hi-end consumer goods manufacturers?

    Have you heard Gallagher's comment.

"No car manufacturer should be allowed to give a car a name they can't pronounce. I speak, of course, of the Toyota Cororra."

To understand that rag, you must first understand the reasoning they used when giving you a free subscription.

No, I have no idea, it's all between you and the rag. Let us know the answer when you have it.

What does it mean? It's not a particularly mellifluous word.

They give it other names in Japan. 'Sprinter' and others, I think.

Personally I try to ignore 'branding' but names sometimes give an idea of the syle and build of a product.

I think large teams of product promotional experts came up with the least offensive word ever devised in English. Which suits the car...
