    Ever hear one of these?

    This is the sound of a Kaw H2 triple; vicious little 750 cc two-stroke and one of the most memorable (and aromatic!) bikes of the '70s:

    To afficianados and devotees, the sound ripping sailcloth, the hounds of hell baying for freedom, a snarling melody of mechanical perfection. To neighbours to do not fall into the afore mentioned category, a hideous cacophony, and an unwarranted demonstration of aural torture. I would have turned the sound right up to max but, Diane pointed out she has a right to silence, and a wicked left as well.

    I love these things; well put!

    One of these days I'll stumble on one; I am always keeping an eye out...

    Just found a couple of cheap examples, one sold one ongoing;

    1972 Kawasaki H2
    Current bid: US $16,600.00 (9,980.00)

    Gold, Non Standard, 1972 H2 Now sold for $18,000 (10,720)

    Much as I would like one I think I will do the same as you, Eric, and wait until I stumble over one.

    Ken.

    Those prices are pretty steep!

    Here, you can find very nice ones under $10k - sometimes considerably less than that... .
