    "Peak Oil"

Most of you are familiar with "Peak Oil" - the argument that after a certain point, production of oil can no longer be increased to meet rising demand. Some believe we are close to (or even have passed) the point at which about half of the world supply of relatively cheap, relatively accessible oil has been extracted - leaving us with growing demand that cannot be fed by the remaining supplies, which become harder (and more expensive) to find and extract.

What do you think about Peak Oil?

    Re: "Peak Oil"

I think demand for oil has exceeded cheap-easy supply for a couple of years now. But the mechanics of the market is a bit obscure with traders and speculators.
