Chipmunks

This isn't really a joke, just a request for information. We were talking at work today and the subject of very polite chipmunks came up. none of us can remember the names of the two Chipmunks that Warner Brothers had in their cartoons. It wasn't Chip and Dale as they were Disney characters. Alvin and brothers weren't it either. I can remember many of the cartoons such as when their tree was cut down and they stole it back after it was turning into furniture. Their garden was canned and so were they. Elmer Fudd got into it with them and ended up with a house full of acorns. This is one of those things that when someone says their names, I'll say "That's it!". It's also bugging me something fierce.
