Funny scene. That scene got me thinking, AMC did not make too many of those early 1970s Ambassidors but I sure remember a lot of them getting smashed up and wrecked in TV and movie scenes back in the 1970s and 1980s. Another car that was a favorite of TV and movies to get destroyed during this time was the late 1970s double decker headlamp Dodge Monaco (most of which were cop cars). Heck the Dukes of Hazzard destoyed more late 1970s Monacos than they did 1969 Chargers and Knight Rider was destroying them almost every episode. Here's a movie where one gets destroyed:
