The bike performs well by all accounts but, the looks - I think the KTM design team got bitten by the Ugly Bug. Super Duke, RC8, 690 SuperMoto, 640 Adventure, they all look the same, like seeing the Munsters in a shopping mall. Nakeds have always pulled hard at my emotions; it's one reason I love my hulking ZRX so much... it's not the quickest - and Elvis knows the suspension's a weak point - but gawd I love to see it when I step into the garage!
I know what you mean - this is the sort of naked that lights my fire, gooses my bumps and could tempt me away from my CBR6RR. It has looks, style, charisma and looks as though it couldn't give a damn whether it was going on road or track. Retro-Modern, I love it, come to Daddy!

That bike could make me go over to the Dark (well, red) side....
I like those Ducs, but as you know, amigo, we dinna have a dealer any closer than Richmond or DC... 200 miles distant. And let's be brutally honest - those Ducs are not known for being problem-free.
Then there's the price of them.
