Idiocy of this kind is truly cringe-worthy.
Adults ought to be free to pursue whatever "does it" for them - including religious nonsense, if they wish - and even if it harms them.
But when their actions/beliefs endanger a minor kid, a line has been crossed.
I see no difference between denying a kid needed medical treatment (whether for religious or other reasons) and outright /neglect abuse - either of which would result in child protective services stepping in.
Idiocy is idiocy, whether it's religious or not.
Yet religious idiocy gets a pass and deferential treatment by the authorities.
