Several areas of the country are delayed in planting corn this year. No doubt that will give oil companies a reason to raise prices again. However, isn't there something wrong when we burn our food in our fuel tanks?

I think so!

It's nuts to devote food production to energy production; even more so when the "energy input" to get the "energy output" is a net loser. I am all for viable alternative fuels - but from all I have read, corn-based E85 is a loser.... for everyone except the agribusiness lobby, of course!
