Will Hildebeast ever give it up?

Anyone else fascinated by the very public display of The Hildebeast's rabid lust for power and sense of entitlement? Even the Dumbocrats are becoming appalled.

I don't see it as too different from Obama's lust for power. Both are statists. In fact, I see very little difference among the three top "candidates" for president.

Obama is just more polished and suave than Clinton, who sounds like a screeching liberal bag lady.

She obviously thinks that she is entitled to the nomination. My bet is that she takes the VP job.

I'm impressed with her rabid determination, not that there is anything I like about her.

As somebody said, if she gave a ball to Obama, they'd both have two.

Just think, if Hillary won you'd no longer have her as one of your senators.

That's a fact. Back when Spitzer was governor it was scary but now I dunno.

Maybe she could resign and take it all out on her husband.

I would maybe take that kind of bet. I think that (1) they are already split in almost every sense but the law and (2) she is too much attached to having the personal guards she rates as a former 1st something.

I think it's he who will leave; after all, why stay?

He owes her support for this go 'round. But if she loses?

He can leave and go pork around and party - which is what Slick Willie's all about. The one area where I feel some empathy for the guy is that he is tied to that awful termagant.... though of course he (like she) did so willingly and for reasons of pure political calculation...

Why on earth would he leave? He hasn't yet let marital ties interfere with his own conduct.

Look at it this way: God has a sense of humor and has seen to it that they are bound in mutual suffering in this life just as they will be in hell in the next.

"Why on earth would he leave?"

To be free of the need to even pretend. What's the point? He ain't running for office anymore - and if she's done, politically, why bother with the facade?

If she did, the resultant prosecution would far outshine the O J trial.

I think ABC reported on a poll taken today that only 27% (or around that number) want her to pull out of the race now. Frankly, if the Dems want to avoid a situation like we had with Al Bore and the infighting when he ran against W, then they better pull together quickly and get their ticket together. The more the party is split, the easier it will be for McCain to win.

Yes. My dollar is on the table.

I said six months ago Hillary was toast, but I was only guessing. My raison d'etre was that she is divisive.

Already the anti-McCain money is, on the web at least (I don't know how that converts to votes) streaming in. Mostly so far because he is painted grey.

Unless McCain can be painted as the wiry warrior guiding the ship, then he is toast.

Remember, you heard it here first.

I don't know what to predict.

Conservatives (the real ones) are stuck with another Chimp - not an appealing prospect... many may just stay home. Or vote for Bob Barr. Maybe even Obama.

Hillary is horrendous - but who knows what Obama would bring?

I would never vote for her; I have thought about voting for him.... only because he at least doesn't come across as a pyschopathic personality, which both Hildebeast and McChimp seem to be....

And devote herself to good works?

I don't quite get the people in West Virginia who are voting for someone who is unlikely to be nominated. Is it like a declaration of preference?

I find the prospect of McCain alarming only because he supports continued Iraq presence which along with trade imbalance has bankrupted America.

It's likely that there will be some sort of western presence in Iraq for a long time if for no other reason than regional stability. I'm sure that we would be happy to turn the cesspit over to NZ or anyone else mad enough to take it.

Why are you there? Regioinal stability?

You have done nothing NOTHING for regional stability. Cesspit it may be. Local tribal war now.

Why don't you admit it was just plain out stupid? And helping turn America into a debtor nation.

What stupid combination of events led to occupation of Iraq which is costing you vast mountains of tax dollars? You went in there with such profound strategic foolishness that you have made a rod for your own back.

But hey, you voted for him.

And you wonder why the world views America as an accident of post WW2 history; like an eight-year-old in a sweets-store.
