Executives fear “retribution” if they speak out

The White House is ordering insurance companies not to criticize Obamacare and threatening “retribution” against executives who speak out, according to CNN reporter Drew Griffin.

During a segment on CNN’s Anderson Cooper 360 last night, Griffin revealed that insurance companies had been told to “keep quiet” about the fact that millions of Americans are being told that they cannot keep their existing policies, contradicting Barack Obama’s promise that, “If…you like your plan, you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan.”

“Basically, if you speak out, if you are quoted, you’re going to get a call from the White House, pressure to be quiet. Several sources tell me and my colleague Chris Frates that insurance executives are being told to keep quiet,” said Griffin, adding, “Sources (are) telling us they fear White House retribution.”

The fact that the White House is threatening private companies with undisclosed forms of “retribution” if they criticize government policy is a shocking display of authoritarianism that wouldn’t look out of place in countries like Communist China or Stalinist North Korea.

As Griffin explains in his report, the Obama administration is trying to keep a lid on the dirty little secret that millions of Americans are losing their coverage as a result of Obamacare, illustrating how Obama blatantly lied when he made assurances that people could keep their existing policy.

COOPER: So, I mean, what specifically are, do they say they’re being told to keep quiet about?

GRIFFIN: About the fact that clarifications were made to the Affordable Care Act after the law was passed, and those clarifications are forcing the insurance industry to drop insurance plans that do not meet ObamaCare requirements. There is a lot of coverage now required in these plans that was not part of many people’s private healthcare plans. Those are the people, Anderson, who are being dropped. And despite all the rhetoric, I should say, from the president, you simply cannot keep your current healthcare plan if it does not meet these requirements. Laszewski says the insurance industry is embarrassed about cancelling the plans, but in an interview last week, he told me the administration was warned about this very scenario and ignored the advice.

Griffin also suggested that insurance companies were adhering to the White House gag order because, “It is the federal government that’s the biggest customer for these insurance companies.”

White House spokesman Jay Carney labeled the accusations “preposterous and inaccurate,” which is similar to how the administration reacted when it was accused of having foreknowledge of the fact that millions of Americans would lose their healthcare coverage due to Obamacare. It subsequently emerged that White House officials knew this would be the case at least three years in advance.

The Obama administration’s desperation in threatening insurance companies to keep quiet about the Obamacare train wreck provides us with the clearest indication yet that the Affordable Care Act is a disaster for America, built on a foundation of lies and deception, which threatens to cause an economic meltdown.

The war on health has ended in another victory for “Them” another loss for you. Trillions in value has been destroyed or confiscated. Future transactions are made impossible. The central-bankers win again.

Dreams of escaping to somewhere else persist, because some areas are either not fully conquered by central banking. Or the conquered areas have not yet been made to successfully function under the new parasitical paradigm.

Just like the native Americans before you. And then the southern farmers. And now suburban and rural families. More and more things are stolen. Further and further you retreat. All you are left with is promises written on ink and paper.

Promises history has proven They never fulfill.

    All Wars Are Bankers’ Wars

More misdirection, obfuscation of the highest order to steal once again, this time to the tune of 25% of income from those least able to afford it. And insurance executives, poor babies, are gagged by whom? This is not just another ruse to steal for insurance once again? I’d better get back up on that turnip truck.

“Much has been written about ObamaCare lately. One of the key points regarding this monstrosity of a law is what a failure it has been. Many of the conservative talkies are labeling it a magnificent disaster.

I have a question, what does a failure by government almost always lead to?
Answer: Government being tasked with finding a solution.

Once liberty takes its last breath it will likely be followed by thunderous applause of our sinister owners and the hoi polloi. Chaos and unadulterated tyranny will be waiting at our doorstep.”

This came from Gun Owners of America today:

Don’t Buy ObamaCare Insurance Just Because the Government Tells You To
    Follow Rep. Steve Stockman’s lead!

For over three years, Gun Owners of America has been warning Americans about the dangers of ObamaCare.
While more and more Americans continue to learn about the unintentional “glitches” populating the ObamaCare website, they are also discovering the INTENTIONAL dangers the new law poses for gun owners.
The news about these problems continues to spread, and other groups continue to forward our information. Just recently, the Tea Party Unity ran a GOA article entitled, “ObamaCare Threatens Gun Owners Rights.”
Indeed, ObamaCare will take the gun ban that has disarmed more than 150,000 military veterans and expand it to potentially cover millions and millions of additional Americans.

Having said that, if you or a member of your family has a condition that requires serious medical attention, fine. There’s no moral imperative preventing you from trying to benefit from Obama’s health care “house of cards,” while it lasts.
But don’t buy insurance just because the President tells you to and threatens to fine you if you don’t. First, many believe that this isn’t going to happen. But even if it did, consider this.
President “Above-the-Law” Obama has now waived ObamaCare for everyone except for us — the “little guys.” But it’s going to victimize us, in spades.
ObamaCare, as drafted, purported to protect some, but not all, of our Second Amendment rights. Yet Obama pretty much showed his hands with Executive Action 16, where he encouraged doctors to ask kids and their parents about guns and enter that information into a federally run database.
Are you ready to have a government bureaucrat decide if you may own a gun or not, with no day in court? Once doctors start entering your personal information into the medical database, there will be nothing to stop the FBI from using your medical information to deny you the right to purchase a firearm.
We thought we had barred this danger with language that was inserted in Harry Reid’s manager’s amendment (of the ObamaCare bill) at our insistence. But it has now become clear that ObamaCare is “the law of the land” only when it suits Barack Obama’s purposes:
    * ObamaCare has provisions that penalize unions and other Obama supporters. Waived by Obama for many of them.
    * ObamaCare’s prohibition on subsidies threatened Congress and its staff. Waived (illegally) by Obama.
    * ObamaCare imposed a mandate on businesses, beginning January 1, 2014. Waived illegally by Obama.
    * ObamaCare required states to provide Medicaid for a greater percentage of the poor and middle class. Overturned by the Supreme Court.
    * ObamaCare required Obama to have an exchange system up and running by October 1. That didn’t happen.
The bottom line? Obama can’t force you to comply with ObamaCare, if he’s not going to comply with it himself.

Expect this to blow sky-high from millions of poor saps and their kids who can’t add 2+2=4.

Millions of people could qualify for federal subsidies that will pay the entire monthly cost of some health care plans being offered in the online marketplaces set up under President Obama’s health care law, a surprising figure that has not garnered much attention, in part because the zero-premium plans come with serious trade-offs.

Three independent estimates by Wall Street analysts and a consulting firm say up to seven million people could qualify for the plans, but federal officials and insurers are reluctant to push them too hard because they are concerned about encouraging people to sign up for something that might ultimately not fit their needs.

The bulk of these plans are so-called bronze policies, the least expensive available. They require people to pay the most in out-of-pocket costs, for doctor visits and other benefits like hospital stays.

Supporters of the Affordable Care Act say that the availability of free-premium plans — as well as inexpensive policies that cover more — shows that it is achieving its goal of making health insurance widely available. A large number of those who qualify have incomes that fall just above the threshold for Medicaid, the government program for the poor, according to an analysis by the consulting firm McKinsey and Company.
